Yes, we do want perfection and that is
when we have to think of the whole
quilt block and thus, the whole quilt.
We must take into consideration the
fact that we have to press that seam open
and in doing so will lose just a bit of fabric
as we do so. And that is where the scant
1/4" seam comes in.
