A lap quilt doesn't have to be square. I think 62x70 is a very nice size. I like the first layout best. You're really moving on this! And the fabrics are yummy.
They plan on quilting it tomorrow night. My daughter and I were going to go do that, meet some quilters and learn to quilt. Then I found out yesterday she didn't even have the tops made.....
