I agree, If you cut and store your strips, they will start to fray. Sometimes, they start to fray anyway RIGHT AFTER I CUT THEM !! YUCK !!! It makes sewing an accurate 1/4" seam allowance that much more difficult. Sometimes if I can catch the problem soon enough, the fabric goes to the ironing board to be sprayed with starch.
