Billy is from Vintage machine shop here on the board. I ordered some parts from him and asked him for the needles and bobbins and he told me I could get them at Wal Mart. I think the needles were about a dollar for 5 and the bobbins were in a pkg. of 4 for around a dollar, maybe a little more but not much. I can't remember, but certainly not 6.99 ea. If you need parts or advise, look up Billy on the board here.

They are 6.99 for a pack of 10. That comes out to 69 cents each. And I always recommend metal bobbins for machines with metal bobbin cases and plastic bobbins for machines with plastic cases. The vintage 66 has a metal bobbin case.
