Here is a quilt I made out of flannel. It was for my FIL. He couldn't see much so I thought that he could at least feel the soft flannel. He passed away about a month after I gave it to him. I gave the quilt to his care giver. She was such a blessing and loved the quilt. So you can make some lovely quilts out of flannel. Just make sure you preshrink it before you start using it.
