Unfortunately I had the same problem with Pfaff. After sending it in twice with no good results. I am not even sure they tried to fix it. I know the local dealer didn't. DH wrote them a letter that he was hiring a lawyer. We sent it back again and they put a new board in it and it worked. I quickly traded it in after telling the Viking dealer my problems and got a Viking that I have never had any problem with. If you can get your hands on a Viking Lily they are really nice machines. I also have a Viking Designer 1. BTW they never even tried to replace it with a new machine. Just kept horsing me around. I threatened to throw it out the second story window. Then DH knew I had, had it. So I appreciate your frustration.
