I feel your frustration. I have had similar problems with a machine I paid $1000 for and always fall back onto my "cheaper" machines. My cheaper machine finally pretty much gave up the ghost and I didn't want to put any more $$ into it. Bought myself a $200 machine from WalMart that Goodhousekeeping recommended. So far so good; I am keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to you!
