I don't remember being welcomed in either of my 2 guilds.
If I wasn't it wouldn't bother me. I went to see what other quilters were doing, attend workshops and programs and to hear about quilting stuff.
I'm not keen on stranger friendliness.
Over time I made very good friends in both Guilds
