You know, I really like people and when I meet visitors, I try to talk to them and make them feel welcome to our guild. Some visitors are open to this and others say "hi" and then walk off. So it can go both ways. Please give them another chance, and don't be afraid to walk around and introduce yourself to the members. I know there are cliques in all groups, but I learned if I wanted to be accepted, I had to realize that I needed to be open and receptive. Sorry you had a bad experience, but next time, go, and pretend you are a princess or a secret celebrity and know you are important. If you join the guild, ask if you could join a committee and thereby get to know others. Life is too short to be miffed about a rebuff.
