I have my sewing room now set up in the Family room. It is where the computers are and I love to have everyone around me so I am not isolated. When I'm sewing DH will sit at the computer or on the couch to read. When any of the kids are home they will bring their laptops into the FR and sit on the couch too. Where I sit at my machine I can see what's on the main computer and easily turn my head slightly and see the couch and what is going on there. I love to be around the family. I could take over one of the bedrooms but then I would have to be there all by myself. Since the FR is in the back of the house and we have a living room, I don't have to keep it quite so neet. You have to purposefully walk into that room to see much in it and if anyone want's to look.... well, it is a working room afterall!!
