Altho I love to make quilts, sometimes I need a break. If I have to go with Mom to Drs. appt, I take knitting or crochet. I only make scarfs but it still gives me my 'fiber fix' for the day. I belong to a craft group where someone will teach a beginning class. That person usually has extra supplies & great passion for that craft. We can decide from that if it is something each individual wants to continue. It has saved me slot of $$! Right now it's quilting, making bags for craft shows & making cards for the military. All those will keep me busy for a long time.
