I had the problem and tried everything. I wore a brace, physical therapy, etc.etc.etc. I did not want to do the surgery so the Dr. gave me a Cortisone shot to the wrist. By the next day the pain was gone and that was the end of that. I know people think that Cortison shots are painful to receive, but let me tell you, it was worth it to get rid of the pain in my wrist. BTW the shot was not all that bad. Just felt like a big pinch.....
