We are a patchwork dog family. Every one of them is a favorite. Maggie/black lab 7 yrs, Sophie/yellow lab 3 yrs, Junebug( aka bug/buggy)boxer, approximately 3 yrs. old, she was a rescue out of a drug house, Tucker/ Saint Bernard 2.5 years, and finally Sam my birthday present, Rott pup (he and I are currently going to school (aka obedience classes). We have our vocabulary list on the fridge and study nightly!
My fondest memory is of Meriah (Ria), who passed away 3 years ago at the age of 15.5. She was a border collie cross that was the most awesome barn girl. She was the best when dealing with the cows, goats and kids. She'd herd like no other and always asked for a kiss by touching your chin and when you'd say thank you, she would give the softest butterfly lick ever. Miss her everyday...
