Sorry I can't help point you towards a specific machine. The best thing to do is test drive as many as you can until you find one that "fits" you. There are so many different ones out there and it also depends on what you want it to do. For piecing I use vintage Singer machines, but for FMQing I use a Viking Mega Quilter. Many machines do both. Go to local dealers and try them out, decide what features you really want and what you don't like or can live without. Don't overlook the gently used machines, often you can get a good price on one.
