Right you are!!! I would have been shorter ...I had to keep on trimming the frayed threads. I'm working on another that is on the original format but I'm afraid of losing the seam to the frayed edges so I'm going to serge over the seams. I will feel better knowing the seam or whatever is left of it will be encased. These jellyrolls I'm working with were very inexpensive compared to the better quality higher end ones and the frayed edges showed that. Now that I think about it serging would be the berrer way to go with this type of quilt. The only pieces I would do by regular machine would be joining the little squares. By Golly I'll get it right yet. I'm going to give thiese two quilts to members of my family. I will pick their names out of a jar. That makes it easy on me. Anne
