Did your seller add any extras, Insurance, priority mail, delivery notification, signature required? Was this from outside the US? That will also add to the cost of postage.
All of these add up and may have added to the cost.

No extras, just first class reg.mail. The postal lady said you should use their different size letter envelopes, what they have it sized and always postage is same, and poastal workers understand this, remember they on't all speak good English or understand. Never thought of that.
