I do know if that 5x7 envelope has one of those brass clasp on the back to close it, it costs more to send it since they can't run it through the automatic sorter. That could be part of the extra cost if it has that. Everyone needs to keep that in mind when mailing things. If you need to cut that out and tape over it. That's what I have done in the past.
