Taiboo, What you have drawn up is perfect I think. If you are making the quilt, then do it how you want it. If the other mothers want something different then let them make another one themselves. The baby will love the bright colors as I am sure the teacher will. Even if the children just drew around their hand & put there name inside would be cute. You are making it so you decide.
