Why am I so irritated at these room moms? I was really feeling quite cranky when I read the post, especially after seeing your design and plans of having the students create their blocks. How cute and I can't imagine an elementary teacher not appreciating (LOVING) it. Sorry, had to rant and I'm not much help. :\

I love light greens and browns and yellows. I think those colors are great together.

I really feel this way also! The more I think about it, the more irritated I get.

 Yep, me too. I think the room moms should get together and make their own quilt.

The one you have planned is perfect for this type of group effort with children!
