HST and then into a flying geese for the border. I have used red or orange for the triangles/border. The flying geese in the border can be used to play match game. Here is a picture of a red one. If you would like a closer look, I"m making one now. Just PM me and I will post it here.
new one in progress. You can see the triangles better

I love all this gender neutral term. Back in the dark ages, we never knew what we were having, now everyone wants to know before hand. My nephew and his wife recently had a dilemma when Garrett insisted that they not call the baby it, or baby, so he suggested they call the baby Bob. So cute. They did have a boy, but the nursery is decorated in farm animals, so that's the direction I'll take. But I loved that the baby had to be named before he/she was born. The world according to Garrett, so cute at 5 years old. I'd say stick to a theme, Care Bears, Winnie the Pooh, Noah's Ark, or go with primary colors. I saw a quilt in a magazine that was done in Amish primary colors and black, the roman stripe black and it was darling. I guess anything goes.
