Humanity did fine, not knowing, for all of human history, now all of the sudden, it's a huge inconvenience not to know? One of my favorite birth memories was a woman with 5 girls, having her 6th baby, take her just born baby from the midwife's hands, kissing the baby and saying, " my love, my life, my precious one, my treasure", to her 6th girl. Just sayin'...
My daughter was one who chose not to find out, I was sure it was a boy, she was hoping for a girl, first quilt I made was in green's, I hated it when it was finished so off the the sewing room I went. The second one was yellow panels with 6 blue and 4 pink panels adding in white with handprints or footprints. I like this one better. And to let you know how sure I was, I had to look twice when she was delivered, it was a girl.
