I have made many quilty items for quilting friends in the past like tote bags, wool felted pin cushions, chicken pincushions, humbug bags etc. Especially for Christmas. I have not made them quilts. I received one tied fleece blanket. I thought most of them to quilt and they are always very appreciative for the help I gave them. I think it would cost them too much time to make items for their quilty friends as they would like to make items for their family. I was a little sad when my youngest two DDs came and they did not make a simple quilt while they do all the time for others at church or that they know.
