I started out at 12 yrs. old, making simple jumpers (remember those?) and A-line dresses. Since then, it wasn't a big stretch to make pillows (decorative)/drapes/upholstering/costuming for amature theater/my bridal gown/etc. I didn't come to quilting until I got cabin fever while interminably pregnant with my 1st child. (He's 33,now)
