Grandma I had the exact same thing happen with my Singer you and I probably bought the same machine, it was fine for straight sewing but anything that had seams on it, it would push all my fabric down the bobbin hole. They told me to change the needles, tried that it didn't work. Got told the same thing in my machine hospital that it's not meant for quilting.

Two weeks ago my darling hubby got me an early Christmas present and bought me the Bernina 550QE it came with all the feet, the BSR and the free motion capability.

Nice to know I'm not the only person that this happened to, I just woke him up when I yelled yes to your post! Told him I'm not the only one lol

The difference for the 2 machines is amazing.
