Wow! Admin, you got to do what you have to do, in regards to this board. I don't care what you do, or what you change here, you will never please everyone, unfortunately. I know this because I was once a moderator on a message board. It was all I could do to keep "some" on topic and keep threads from being hijacked at times. From what I have experienced, the only thing for you to do is to make the rules, instruct your moderators in their duties and let the "chips" fall where they will. Some people may leave, but that is, ok, and the board will be the better for it in the long run. Otherwise, you will drive yourself nuts trying to please everyone.
This is one of the best boards for quilting that is on the net. Letting a few as it appears from what I have read, push this board in the direction of confusion that is apparent is a shame. If It were my board,.........but it is not. You have some great mods and my hat is off to them for the job they do. Been there, done that, it is not easy.
