I am making two bags for host gifts. I have all ready topped stitched one of the two panels for the first bag in black thread. (photos attached) So I will finish that bag in black. The black thread shows on the black fabric better in the photo then in person because of the flash. I am wondering if gray thread would look better because it would show up better on the black fabric.

So here are the questions in my mind I'm trying to answer:

Would gray thread look better?

Would gray thread look to soft?

Should I just do the second bag with black thread and not worry about loosing the pattern of the black thread on the black fabric?
