I do spoil my kitties a little, but they are very easy going. My previous kitty got real spoiled in her last years. She went from 14# to about 3# before she died. I fed her baby food by the teaspoon if she would eat it. Put a heating pad in her bed, water by her bed. DH would check her every morning before he left bc he didn't want me to find her passed away.
I will spoil my new (6yo) ones when they need it. Having said that they do sleep with us and I've never allowed a pet in my bed before.
Are they worth it? Yes, yes and yes again.
