Default If the new QB is visually hard for you, here may be an answer....

I know that my hubby is bothered by certain colors, and that there are others here on the board, who have a hard time with the white background, as opposed to the tan we used to have. So, I played.

If you have Internet Explorer 8 as I do, you should be able to make some adjustments. If you have another internet connection, or a different version, hopefully this will at least point you in the right direction.

Anyway, here is how you can change the color to tan:

To specify website fonts and colors
1. Click to open Internet Explorer.
2. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
3. Click the General tab, and then do one or both of the following:
o To change the font, click Fonts. Specify the fonts you want to use, and then click OK.
o To change colors, click Colors, and then clear the Use Windows colors check box. Click each color box, click the color you want to switch to, and then click OK. When you're done choosing colors, click OK.
4. Click OK.

To override website font and color settings
5. Click to open Internet Explorer.
6. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
7. Click the General tab, and then click Accessibility.
8. Select the Ignore colors specified on webpages, Ignore font styles specified on webpages, and Ignore font sizes specified on webpages check boxes, click OK, and then click OK again.

When I did this, I clicked on the box for Background (step 4 above), it will open another window where you can select from a bunch of colors. If you click on Define Custom Colors, you will be able to tweak it to what you want.

A quick play I set the boxes on the bottom right to what is shown here to get the color you can now see in the background of my pic. It seems pretty close to the old QB color.

The settings were: 33, 158, 196 on the left, top to bottom and 239, 228, 177 on the right.

Then, because we are all (notice I said WE) getting older, some of our eyes don't work too well with tiny font either. So, I adjusted that too in Accessibility.

See the pics attached for examples what I mean. I hope this helps.
