I have a Husqvarna Viking SE and I "quilt mine on the embroidery machine all the time. I have what is referred to as a quilting hoop and it has a double hoop. one for light weight and one for heavy weight fabric. However I have also used my other hoops as well and have not had a problem. I just loosen my hoop as much as possible, hoop and then tighten up til it holds...I also use warm and natural batting which is not thick or bulky. I have not had to use the sticky stabilizers yet.
