With the Janome 11000 I quilted most of my quilts with the various embroidery hoops. I have quilted VERY large ones, using the larger hoop, as well as the 5X7 one, which I used constantly for my 6"blocks.
The problem with this machine is that it doesn't come with a 5X7 hoop for the six inch block, you must use the larger hoop and it is just too large to handle a quilt sandwich it seems. Usually I could quilt a smaller quilt sandwich in an afternoon, now I'm into my fourth day with no solution in sight. I will go for the sticky stuff later today and report back.
