If you can't get a FMQ foot to fit your machine you can buy a specialty needle called a spring needle. They look like a regular needle with a spring wrapped around it. It works in place of the foot. It also has the advantage of giving you a full view of your quilting space. The down side is that I can't use the auto needle threader with this needle and have to thread it the old fashioned way.
