I decided a couple of years ago, to no longer "do" Christmas madness. I make hand made gifts
for my brood all year long but they don't show up at Christmas. I just give them out when they
are done. Christmas is now a nice dinner, a few small gifts (socks, chocolates, mitts) and some
$ which my young adult kids gleefully spend at the Boxing Day Sales after Christmas on clothes
and electronics. For the first time in years, I am almost enjoying Christmas and I know there
will be no exchanges or complaints that it doesn't fit or is the wrong colour.
