CKCowl hit it with the suggestion of the table runner.
EXACTLY my motive in doing the runner, to learn curves. While I said I found the process actually quite relaxing ... Heavens NO! I can't ever imagine doing a whole quilt. Although, I do see myself doing another runner or tabletopper, all for the fun of it ... this time it'll be in more spring-like colours!
