If you bought low quality flannel from Joannes' then yes, you will see pilling like mad. Good, quality LQS flannel will look mch nicer and give you a great final product. So true. Three years ago I bought a lot of flannel from JA on black Friday, too. I ended up cutting them up and using them instead of batting. Worked great inbetween the LQS flannel and I saved a bundle from not buying batting.
