Stitchinwitch & others, you're reading my mind! I'm in the same kind of slump, so glad I'm not alone! My girls are 17 & 20, no little ones around, it's a "been there, done that" kind of Christmas. I think the depression is starting to get to me, everytime I think about when they were little I just start tearing up, like right now, which isn't good cause I'm at work. Just seems like it's another day, sure they got some new clothes, make up, etc., but no excitement. We even had to open presents on Christmas eve, because DH, oldest DD and I have to work (thank the good Lord for jobs)! And whats going to happen when we have an empty nest, I don't even want to think about it! I hope everyone else here has a better holiday!
