I have one small bedroom to do all my sewing and quilting. An old oak office desk and a Kola sewing table with my New Home that is not so new anymore and a 2x6 cutting table on pvc pipe to raise it with tubs beneath it. One book shelf and a closet full of tubs, books and bins and it keeps crawling out of that closet further and further. I have a Pfaff serger on the floor between the oak desk and sewing cabinet as my cricut is now reigning in its position. I just organized my dining room for my scrapbooking and want to take the cricut in there and off the oak desk. I have baskets of projects and Oh one good thing is I have over the door a clear soft plastic shoe storage that is for cut sq in 5", 3" and 1.5" I think that is how it is. It may be 2" and 3.5. they are all to fit. And numerous items yet to cut stuffed under that shoe rack on the floor. stuff under the desk and a thread organizer from Joanns for the expensive stuff and spools of the big spool in a drawer. One small plastic 3 drawer pull for yarn, etc.oh did I mention wedged between the door and closet is sewing cabinet #2 for when someone comes over to sew with me..add me and an office chair and there is not much room to stand and walk. I can't figure any better method for my madness. Besides building a 3 car garage and that is out of the question. I already have 3 rooms (computer) for my "hobbies". My poor hubby just shakes his head. I am kinda sorta ok when it comes to organizing but this is not what I would want. I also have a cork board up for mag articles, charts, ideas to ponder. And my rulers are supposed to hang on nails on the wall. I have a corner hutch between the oak desk and sew cabinet and a small DVD player to entertain me as I sew. Whew that is a lot in one small room.
