I have been quilting since 1992 and have never made a quilt without a pattern. I wouldn't know where to start. Wow! To me, that's amazing that so many people make up their own patterns. I would love to try. How do you start? How do you figure out the correct sizes of each piece? I see quilts I like, but I always think if they made it a little different, it would be more to my liking. I'd love to know how to make my own pattern. Any help?
