Here is a picture of it. As you can see, the applique does take up a lot of the top. It is machine app'd.
What I'm thinking is quilting some texture on the branches and leaves and flowers and I can put a lot more detail on it with a machine than I can with just a needle.
I am not in a hurry for it.
