How soon you want done? If sooner than not, then machine quilt. Hand if you want more value and spend more time. When deciding what your going to do, be sure to note the pattern you will be either machine or hand quilting. I personally, not a policeperson here, would do one or the other because of continuity. It keeps the value in the quilt if you are selling it. Also, personnaly, I think it looks better because the stitches are the same. Handquilting is pretty hard to get as small as a machine. If you are deciding to be an heirloom, hand quilt.
