To tell the truth I walk i walk into a store to buy batting , and find very little help in finding a nice batting ..I am a self taught quilter and I ALWAYS thought the quilt shops were there for expert help....Little did I know they are not very helpful any more then the search engines on finding all i can about batting .......So I go in an say im making a baby quilt and they say this is what i use , Or Get this but shrink it first ,Just put in the washer on delicate and dry.... Ever had to pick out batting that has fallen apart in the washer .........Long story short .I now read the pattern and us what is suggested.... Not sure what i like Yet . I do like warm and cozy quilts for winter and soft and cozy light ones for summer .
