I know that I actually quilted for someone recently and the LQS owner told her that since she was trying to save money to use a polar fleece instead of a batting. It quilted up just as nicely and it goes on sale more often.
Polar Fleece for batting???? Wow I may be living under a rock or two but I've never thought of that! Very interesting! :0)
