As a rule we have always purchased HP products, however the last printer scanner I purchased was an Epson, it was priced well used individual cartridges for ink (4 total) which can be changed out individually, it has well priced ink refills compared to the hp and I love it It has the option to print double sided as well as selecting individual pages and properties such as black and greyscale when I don't need to print in color
