I want to thank each and every one of you for responding. I actually started quilting on this top last night. I still haven't decided if I'm going to hand quilt any on it or not. I have started machine quilting the "tree" and since I'm so slow at it, it will be a while before I even have to decide if I'm going to quilt the white area by hand or machine! I'm so much better at hand-quilting than with a machine, that's why I'm thinking about finishing it by hand. It's a nice top and I don't want to ruin it with my inexperience!
