Finding the right dealer is just as important as finding that perfect sewing machine. If you do not like the dealer, I would definately wait for the new store to open and purchase from them. I took my little checklist with me every where I went, and I also took fabric from what I was working on to test. I happened to be sewing a rag quilt at the time, and my machine would not even raise the foot high enough to get 6 layers of flannel under it to sew the blocks together. Have fun, and keep us posted !
