when I lived overseas, I learned to request tracking-the AQIS, at times, would hold a package or sometimes just let it thru. It was nice to know where things were and in what stage of release Or if AQIS had it and I needed to pay a fee. I, also, had a lot of packages shipped to my sons address, which I used as a US address while overseas. He would then bundle and ship my items to me. Most of those got thru without AQIS inspection as his was a private address and not a business. They seem to inspect business addresses more.
