I'm so sorry this happened to you. Especially since you NEED to sew to earn your living! I hope they are able to repair and replace quickly. Hey, just think, a new machine!!!!!

Just a little "mom moment" here - talk to your insurance agent about getting some renter's insurance. It's an inexpensive way to pay for piece of mind, particularly if you lose your ability to work. I can't imagine it costing more than $25 a month...more or less. It's worth it.
