This is a great topic! Thanks to all who have contributed! I am now going to ponder this myself. In the meantime, I have a MIL in a nursing home and all she can think of is her stuff, how much she has and what SHE should do about it! She cannot even get out of bed herself, so I just told her it would be there for her and when her time comes, it will be dealt with "respectfully" I am trying to sew up some of her stash, but could do that until my death so I need to find places to donate. I have donated a bunch to Project Linus and to my local quilt store lady to deal with as she has expressed interest for all of the groups she is interested in. gram doesn't know but some of her things are going, (she doesn't remember most of it anyway) but any ideas would be helpful for donation. I don't have time for a garage sale.
