A chain of restaurants serves hot dogs and hamburgers. The menu lists a Deluxe Hamburger and a Deluxe Cheeseburger. I always order a Deluxe Hamburger. Invariably they ask me if I want cheese on my hamburger. I realize they're just going by the rote responses given by management. I sometimes respond politely and say "No." Other times, I ask them if I look senile, and what part of "hamburger" do they not understand?
