Here are the pics I promised yesterday.

>The two views of the plug:

The power cord / foot controller get the female side since there are no protruding hot wires.

>The male plug with it's mounting wings:

On the back side the wings are attached to the plug by a bracket. The wings mount to the inside of the case by screws.

>The wiring set up:

The original wiring on this machine was so bubba'd and patched and spliced it was actually dangerous. You'd get a stout buzz every time you touched it. The first attempt at wiring it resulted in a shorted out foot controller, so I ended up using a modern unit and just replacing it's plug with the antique plug.
I'm still looking for an original foot controller.

If you ever decide to try and wire it back to OEM, I have a wiring diagram that works.
