I'm watching this thread closely. We are thinking about where we want to live when my DH retires. He loves to fish and garden. I love to quilt and belong to several quilt guilds, attend quilt shows and retreats. We don't like to be smothered by heat in the summer nor endure gloomy, grey skies or lots of snow. Where is that ideal place?
